OUR SERVICES

Creating Cultural Consciousness

The National Training Center for DEI & Cultural Practice specializes in social and emotional professional development that changes the cultural landscape of schools. Our training begins with confronting unconscious mindsets and behaviors that unintentionally cause harm. Our work is designed by university researchers and practiced in classrooms nationally and internationally. This work changes lives.

We offer training and certification programs for educational leaders and practitioners ready to transform student outcomes by improving cultural mindsets and the environments in which teaching and learning has the chance to thrive. When leaders, teachers, school board members and parents are simply “sick and tired” of dismal student outcomes and desire change - impactful change, contact The National Training Center for DEI & Cultural Practice today at CreativeEnergyTX@gmail.com or (832) 934-4392.

THE EXPERIENCE

This is not the kind of workshop that you can sit and grade papers. Dr. McLeod delivers an experience that creates an awakening. It is far from a sit and get type of professional development. Dr. McLeod takes you on paradigm shifting journey, that rattles the core of your comfort zone, making it to uncomfortable to stay there. The hands on activities and discussions are not only professional growth, but personal growth.

It’s not often you find a speaker that delivers the type of professional development that changes lives - immediately. Changes perspectives and inspires teachers to build relationships with their most challenging students. Our teachers want more and our students will be the benefactors. We are culturally awake. Thank you Dr. Kim.
— NATASHA LENOX, PRINCIPAL
For the past 7 years, each October, my staff and members of the Black Educators Association (BEA) in Nova Scotia, Canada, have been extremely fortunate to receive professional development from Dr. Kim. Year after year (Yes every year in their words) the insurmountable knowledge they’ve gained through Dr. McLeod’s teachings has had an impact on how we work with black and brown children internationally. No matter where you are in the world, Black and Brown children face similar challenges. We could not be more grateful to Dr. McLeod for her service to our provincial Association.
